The big deal is done !!!

on the last day of the World Championships in Varazdin , Croatia, on July 21st we have two World title fights.

And our US top lady Tiffany VAN SOEST from San Diego challenge the current World Champion from Ukraine Olena OVCHYNNIKOVA  IN FULL MUAY THAI rules – 56,40 Kg.

They ladies fought already in Las Vegas Hilton and Tiffany won the bout, Olena has to stop the fight because of an injury.

Now – time for the re-match, when east meets west

Everybody knows Tiffany, “the timebomb” , and Olena is for sure the best female fighter in Europe, but not yet well known in USA.

International Austrian Open tournament in Forms, Semi contact, Light contact and K-1 rules.

This tournament is open for kids, juniors, women and men of all federations

Until today we have more than 50 registrations from our male / female referees of 5 continents.

Because of to many registrations World wide we must change the Venue to  4* Hotel KAVALIER, Linzer Strasse 165, 1140 Vienna, arriving time 3pm.

Please note:  the organisers can just book your Hotel if you transfer the fee at least two weeks before to our Bank account in Austria, together with your registration list.

Vienna, Austria; WKF head office organise the annual World referee Seminar in next  March 2nd-4th.

After Lviv  2011 is Vienna now the next host, for 2013 the seminar will be held in Poland.

All WKF referees, who not has attended the last seminar in Lviv 2011, must extend their license in Vienna. The extended License is valid for three Years again .

Without licence is unexceptional no refereeing for WKF possible !

The transition period for licenses form other federations ends on February 29th.

The organisers expect teams from more than 80 countries, from kids up to adults and Veterans. You can participate in Forms, light contact, point fighting, full contact, low kick, k-1 rules, Thai boxing and MMA.

Since October 1st we have a new manager in the board of directors.

German Georg MÜLLER is appointed as new World president for the WKF amateur division.

With immediate effect he is responsible for all belongings in the World wide WKF family for all amateur sport belongings. Tournaments, international team matches, World wide seminars, and much more.

On August 6, 2011 Promoter and Former 4 times World Kickboxing Champion Scott ” Conan” Mincey will be holding the Kickboxing v.s Breast Cancer Event at the Holiday Inn located in Norman, OK. This Event will be an All Amateur Muay Thai and Kickboxing Event with 15 scheduled bouts including the USMTA Female Tri State Championship 125 lbs Dividion . The Event will be bringing fighters from 4 States.

Torrevijea, Spain; WKF SPAIN president Juan A. PINILLA report from the last event with World title – 69,50 Kg in full contact. Spanish hero Feliks KLEINS challenged Columbian Champion Diego JAIR for the amazing World title belt.

After a hard Ring battle in eleven rounds, Kleins knocked out Jair with a sweet spinning back kick to the liver, and the referee has to count him out.

DAVID MEETS GOLIATH AS NORTH EAST KICKBOXER TAKES ON WORLD CHAMPION

A North East student will take on a nine-times kickboxing champion in a world title fight to be held in the region this autumn.

The David and Goliath style fight will be the highlight of the World Kickboxing Federation World Championship show being held in the North East for the first time in November.

The event, organised by Jarrow-based Action Promotions, will consist of 20 individual bouts …

In June we started already with our new division PRO POINT FIGHTING.

In a very nice event in Bregenz, Austria, Ukraine Super Girl Mayya ARABIDZE beat in a very dynamic fight Austrian legende Daniela KLOPFER with 22:21 points and got the Champion belt from WKF World director Fritz EXENBERGER:

The idea behind is to upgrade our thousands of semi contact – or point fighting – fighters World wide.

Many tournaments on all continents has many competitors and now World Kickboxing Federation offers the Chance to fight for a real pro title and Champion belt, sanctioned by our World federation. Posted in the weekly updated ranking and with high value. Valid with same rules everywhere, same system like in professional Ring sport.
